The ENDURANCE PROJECT is an international undertaking, celebrating the accomplishments of Formula One’s greatest innovator, Sir Jack Brabham. Through cutting edge filmmaking and Virtual Reality experiences, ENDURANCE will inspire a new generation of audiences to realise their creative potential.

ABOUT

ENDURANCE truly is a ‘David and Goliath’ story about the immense dangers of early Formula One, the development and application of ground-breaking engineering innovations and the ongoing quest to achieve the impossible, no matter the cost. This is a story about the triumph of will over adversity.

ENDURANCE is celebration of one of the greatest sporting and engineering success stories to come out of the history of Formula One. After successive Grand Prix Championship victories in 1959 and 1960 for the Cooper Team, Jack Brabham went on to build and drive his own racing car, winning the 1966 Formula One Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships in the same year; an unparalleled accomplishment and one that has never been repeated in the history of Formula One.

With the support of world class Virtual Reality & Mixed Reality cinematography, never before seen digitally remastered archival footage and spectacular high definition reenactments; capturing the speed, the adrenaline and the heart stopping drama of life on the limit ENDURANCE will present audiences an unparalleled insight into the mind of Formula One’s greatest innovator, Sir Jack Brabham.

MAKE A SOCIAL IMPACT – DONATE TODAY

Contribute to the ENDURANCE feature documentary today by clicking on the button …. now.Your donation is fully tax deductible as ENDURANCE has been approved by the Documentary Australia Foundation (DAF) and is hosted on their online giving platform.

DAF ‘is Australia’s only independent, non-profit initiative bringing philanthropists and filmmakers together to create social change.’ DAF promotes stories which contribute to social change by acknowledging projects which ‘engage empathy, raise awareness, and inspire action in social change initiatives…’.

Through DAF you can contribute to ENDURANCE; a story that champions vocational training in Australia through telling the story of one of its most successful exponents, Sir Jack Brabham. Furthering the social enterprise initiative behind ENDURANCE, a philanthropic award will be instigated via domestic and international sales of the film.

PHILANTHROPIC AWARD

The ENDURANCE PROJECT’S philanthropic award (in the form of an annual scholarship administered by the ENDURANCE FUND) will contribute to the furthering of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based pursuits for young women and men in vocational training.

By its nature, a film’s presence recedes after the initial international theatrical and home entertainment release. Critically, the philanthropic scholarship will perpetuate not only the ENDURANCE PROJECT and its supporters’ legacies, it will remind us, through commemorating the entrepreneurial spirit of Sir Jack, that we can and must summon the initiative required to ensure that we continue to question the status quo and innovate with rigour as we face the future.

For younger generations, the ENDURANCE PROJECT scholarship will encourage students to look at those who’ve gone before, and draw inspiration as they in turn face complex world challenges requiring the resourcefulness of human ingenuity more than ever before. Familiarity with names from sporting, cultural and scientific fields such as Sir Jack Brabham, Dame Joan Sutherland, Baron Howard Florey and others can teach us not only what we have achieved in the past, but more importantly, persuade us to aim for excellence in our own endeavours.

The scientific, technological and cultural contribution and heritage of Sir Jack’s accomplishments and their ongoing global impact, will be manifestly present as the ENDURANCE scholarship offers meaningful incentives to young people in their training and emerging work practices.
